The I Am That Books series is an invitation to step out of the noise and into the soul of the natural world. Books bridge the gap between human stillness and animal instinct, transforming the act of reading into a shared meditation. Our stories don’t just ask you to observe—they invite you to embody. To breathe as the creature breathes, to see as they see, and to discover the profound peace found in their unique rhythm.
Based on the Sanskrit mantra, So Hum translates to "I am That." It is a practice of identifying oneself with the universe and all living things. Meditation is a dedicated path to clarity, calm, and purposeful action that includes simple techniques to promote serenity. Our So Hum Meditation sessions provide a pause for a cause for animal shelters—from cats and dogs to staff and volunteers. So Hum Meditation is a breath of fresh air.
World Cat Month takes place every October, dedicating an entire month to celebrating cats and raising awareness about feline welfare. October is already home to several established cat observances, including Global Cat Day on October 16, National Black Cat Day on October 27, and National Cat Day on October 29, making it the natural choice for a month-long celebration of the world’s most popular companion animal.
